As we get older and move into different life stages, oftentimes it becomes more challenging to connect with new people both personally and professionally. We’ll also talk about why connecting with others is one of the best ways to find your dream job or uncover your career passion.
7 Ways to make new professional connections:Learn about a subject that wouldn’t normally interest you (example if you’re not really a sports person, watch a sports documentary)

- Watch Facebook lives or Instagram lives to experience new perspectives and connect with new people
- Connect with co-workers outside of your department or team
- Join an association or professional organization and get involved
- Take a class online or purchase a course
- Look for social media groups on LinkedIn or Facebook
- Do something new to switch up your energy (new hair, change home or office set up, visit a new restaurant etc.)
